Director’s Letter

To all of our MUD 115 Residents,

I am pleased to announce the creation of our MUD 115 website. We hope you will find this website a source of information including those of the latest happenings and provide insight into our role as a Municipal Utility District. Water, waste management, flood control, and drainage are the key elements of a MUD. However, that is not just what we do. We maintain 8 lakes and their revitalization, 11 fountains, the greenbelt area, and we partner with the HOA on landscaping. I am proud to be a resident in this community where so many people care. As neighbors, let’s continue to make this a GREAT place to live.

Sincerely,
Bob Barrett, MUD 115 President

Upgraded Water Tools for Montgomery County MUD 115 Residents

March 26, 2026|

Great news for the customers of Montgomery County MUD 115!  As part of the MUD’s ongoing efforts to improve and streamline services for our customers, we are now offering you direct and secure access to your water usage data.  The MUD recently completed the installation of new smart water meters throughout the neighborhood, at no additional cost to the residents.  Now the MUD can offer an array of EyeOnWater tools to our residents, including secure online website access to review and analyze your own water usage patterns.  A consumer smartphone app is also available and can be downloaded from the app store.

With these tools, you are now able to view your hourly usage activity and have greater understanding and control of the amount of water you use.  EyeOnWater Online provides easy-to-understand graphs and the ability to establish alerts—including assistance with identifying potential leaks.

Please see the attached step-by-step instructions for creating your EyeOnWater account at https://eyeonwater.com/signup. This portal allows you to easily monitor your household water consumption.

Once you’ve completed the account creation process, you’ll receive a confirmation email from BEACON. You must verify your email address by clicking the link in that email before signing in with your new credentials.

Note: Check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive the confirmation email.

If you’d like to download the mobile app, search EyeOnWater in your device’s app store.

What is an MS4?

March 11, 2026|

MS4 stands for Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems. According to the EPA website, an MS4 is:

  • “Owned by a state, city, town, village, or other public entity (MUD) that discharges to waters of the U.S.,
  • designed or used to collect or convey stormwater (e.g., storm drains, pipes, ditches),
  • not a combined sewer, and
  • not part of a sewage treatment plant, or publicly owned treatment works (POTW)”

Currently, Montgomery County MUD No. 115 is a Phase II (Small) MS4. The goal of the MS4 program is to increase public awareness of stormwater pollution and promote pollution prevention practices to minimize illicit discharges (anything not composed of entirely stormwater) into storm systems.

PLEASE REPORT ALL ILLEGAL DUMPING OR POLLUTION VIOLATIONS WITHIN THE DISTRICT TO THE OPERATOR MUNICIPAL OPERATIONS & CONSULTING (281) 367-5511.

Upcoming Meetings

Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 12:00 PM

The District generally meets on the first Thursday of every month at 12:00 pm at 25003 Pitkin Road, Suite D600, Spring, Texas 77386.
